The Dreamboat's Waiting...

This work was developed from my screen print City of Dreams, with the idea that some things can only happen in dreams and in fiction. I made this a few months ago, but I've been having thoughts of taking it farther, pushing the imagery and ideas.

It's jig-sawed wood, that I screen printed on and varnished, the boat was laser cut and screen printed on and then everything layered upon an old piece of a sign I found in someone's garage/shack that they let me rummage through. All inside a window frame.

My favorite thing is the old sign, there's a quality about it that's almost impossible to recreate. But that doesn't mean I can't try...
