Blanket Statements.

I knitted a giant scarf nest for my Moral Fibers installation , that now serves as a couch-blanket in my house. Since then I've made a few big knitted blankets as gifts, and I'm working on a white one now.

I'm using size US 50 knitting needles , which if you know nothing about knitting, that's big. Kind of comparable to a hammer's handle.

They take a while, not because they're overwhelmingly difficult, but because they're so massive. But they end up pretty whimsical, so in the end it's well worth it.
