peel slowly and see

I finally have my holgaroid!

I'm really excited about it, it's a weird little thing. There's not a viewfinder because it's actually a holga camera with a polaroid backing blocking the looking-glass, if you will. So that's a little odd.

But it's awesome. I'm trying to save most of my film for my upcoming trips, but I needed to try it out so I know how it works. So instead of looking like a confused tourist on the streets of Paris who doesn't know how to use their camera, I'll look like a confused tourist on the streets of Paris who totally knows how to use their camera.

So for a test shot, I chose a black beauty named Sidney, she looks a little shy, but don't be fooled. It's not the best photograph, but I now know how to (I hope) use my holgaroid.
