It started off as a joke.
"Hey, do you think they have bubble tea in France?"
But deep down I figured they didn't. Alas, I'm walking through Chinatown en Paris (side note: not like the Chinatown you're thinking, fake Fendis and Louis Vuittons, less fashion, more noodles) and I see it. Like a light in darkness, like a glitter in the pebbles in a river of California during the gold rush, there was bubble tea. Now apparently there is no French word for bubble tea, but I know that both the word tea and bubble have their respective translations. Oh well.
Don't overlook the Lady and the Tramp vaccum-seal lid.
They don't do it like that in 'merica.
