Today I walked across a bridge leading me over the Seine and found dozens of padlocks. There are many more like these on many other bridges, and apparently it's akin to carving your name on the empire state building, only less destructive.

There are names of people on some of the locks,
lovers who want to commemorate their love.
Dear, did you know that people love each other just like we do, just like they do?
