le dix-septième arrondissement

when i went to paris i didn't even know what an arrondissement was.

after my arrival, i learned about the snail shape organization of paris into twenty different sections, (think soho, upper east side, financial district, chelsea) and after quickly and accidentally visiting ten of them, i decided i had to visit every one. I covered nineteen of them without trouble, and had one left and on my final day in paris, i took the subway there just to look around on a cloudy sunday morning.

I took a picture out my apartment window, in the seventeenth (le dix-septième).

there's another layer i didn't print, the roof, because the screen didn't turn out. but i think it looks kind of interesting without it, but i'll make one with the roof. it might be interesting to make a print of a building in every arrondissement. i seem to have obsession with conquering each and every one.
