holy macaron!

apres beaucoup des problemes... c'est le macaron parfait!

finally, the perfect macaron.

now after baking and researching, and trying to learn the nuances of the elusive macaron, i did it! the signature characteristic of this cutie cookie is the pied, french for foot, and it's been my lex luther for the past month. but i made four dozen tonight for a wedding gathering and i think i've got it!
