for a while now i've been dreaming of big fat chunky yarn.
yarn so fat i need bigger knitting needles. the problem? it's expensive, i think it's usually rope encased in wool yarn. but i found that piping you find in pillows and such can be bought by the yard and i think will be a suitable - and far cheaper -substitute. this is a little less than an inch thick.
the only problem?
i think i have to make my own knitting needles.
(word to my knitters: those red needles are size 25mm, US 50
and not nearly big enough, yikes!)
