this has been an exciting week. i've been given some new opportunities and haven't hurt anyones feelings, i think that's something to be proud of. i wish that was the the way the world always worked, but unfortunately an ideal is ideal for a reason, or else it wouldn't need another name. new chapters are a little scary, but i try and remind myself of the first time i navigated paris, insecure and alone. by the end of my time there i wasn't scared even a little bit.
